Bodysnatcher - Hell Is Here, Hell Is Home
"this isn’t THAT kind of deathcore"
Artist: Bodysnatcher Album Title: Hell Is Here, Hell Is Home Record Label: MNRK Heavy Genre: Deathcore For Fans Of: Enterprise Earth, Brand of Sacrifice Release Date: April 10th, 2026
The term “deathcore” conjures up a lot of baggage these days, thanks to the success of bands like Lorna Shore and Slaughter to Prevail. I’m here to tell you, this isn’t THAT kind of deathcore. You can actually hear the hardcore origins on this record, and a whole lot of it. For my money, when deathcore is done correctly, it is amongst the heaviest of metal genres. Bodysnatcher does it right. ‘Hell Is Here, Hell Is Home’ takes the brutality of death metal and marries it with scathing social commentary that hits so much harder than any zombie or serial killer fantasy ever can. If you are pissed off about the world, this record will provide a lot of catharsis.

It’s possible for an album to be a “Great Album” and “For Niche Tastes Only”. One rating isn’t always better than another.
